Young Champions offers part time positions and is always looking for new coaches/instructors in Cheerleading, Karate and Dance. We are looking for candidates with great attributes such as leadership, positive attitude, enthusiasm, dedication and punctuality. We hold our classes once a week. Young Champions recreation programs are held in various community facilities throughout Northern California. Ages of our students range from 4-15 years old. We hold 4 sessions a year (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer). Students learn specific skills for each sport/class the student participates in. Each location has 2 – 3 classes running 40 minutes long, as a company we also offer weekly or paid in full payments for parents.

  • Qualifications
    • 18 years of age or older
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Must have 2 or more year experience in the sport you are applying for Cheerleading and/or Dance.
    • Karate must have a Brown or Black Belt to apply
    • No Serious offences or DUI’s (We run background checks)

We are looking for coaches who have a passion for cheer, teaching, and empowering youth. Coaches have to provide their own cheer routine, as the students get to attend competition at the end of each session held by Young Champions. Cheer coaches need to feel comfortable teaching youth: Kicks, Jumps, Stunting and Dance. Young Champions provides requirements for competition guidelines. Coaches have to provide their own speaker to play music for class.

All instructors are required to teach from the Young Champions manual that has weekly lesson plans. Following the weekly curriculum assures the Instructor and parents that the students are learning a full range of self-defense and martial arts techniques. Young Champions provides body shields and blockers to teach with – the students really enjoy training with this equipment.

We are looking for instructors who have a passion for dance, teaching, and empowering youth. Instructors choreograph a dance routine to teach weekly in preparation for the dance competition held at the end of each session.
Requirements are provided for competition guidelines. Instructors have to provide their own speaker to play music for class.

Young Champions is a youth recreation organization seeking part-time (seasonal) drivers to assist in delivering program flyer to public schools, in the areas we offer our programs.

Drivers are needed 4 times per year for 1-2 weeks of work. Ideally, we’re looking for someone that can commit to deliver each quarter. Great opportunity for semi-retired individuals or someone just looking to make some extra cash.

Qualifications

  • Must speak fluent English
  • Must be able to deliver during normal school hours (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
  • Must have reliable transportation; Vans are desirable
  • Must have good driving record
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must have car insurance

*Reasonable knowledge of the area in which you will be delivering is preferred.
